• Employment. Worked in private practice as a clinical psychologist in Johannesburg and was so sought after that she had to turn clients away regularly. • Award. Was the chairperson of the Family Life Centre (FAMSA), an umbrella body to initiate and co-ordinate resources to maintain a healthy and happy marriage and family life in South Africa for many years. Marlene married Basil HYDE, son of Maurice Jacob HYDE and Victoria STEIN, on 26 May 1961 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The marriage ended in Divorce in 1982. (Basil HYDE was born on 28 May 1939 in Johannesburg, South Africa and died on 17 Aug 2004 in Rehovot, Israel.) |
