Benjamin ARENSBERG

  Noted events in his life were:

• Education. A great Talmudist and a man well educated in German and English.

• Honors. Benjamin Arensberg had the privilege of being a Town Councilor in Goldingen in Courland, and was for many years President of the Goldingen Hebrew Congregation.

• Employment. He had a brewery and potato-flour factory.

Benjamin married Annette LESERSOHN, daughter of David LESERSOHN and Pauline SIMONOWITZ. (Annette LESERSOHN was born in 1822, died in 1905 in Palestine and was buried in Jerusalem Jewish Cemetery.)
